Tara Pozzi

Boise State University

Tara is a master’s candidate in Human-Environment Systems at Boise State University. Her thesis is titled “Understanding the Barriers and Facilitators of Lidar Adoption for Hazard Management in the Western U.S.” Tara has an interdisciplinary background in engineering, ecological science, and social science. Before starting her master’s, Tara worked as a water resource engineer in San Francisco Bay, science communicator in Belize and Ireland, and wilderness therapy instructor in Idaho. Tara earned her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Santa Clara University.
